Introduction by our seniors
Welcome to our primary. Here some words from different sections' heads;
JSPS is a greatly sought-after centre of excellence in all it undertakes to do. In its inherent pursuit of always doing the best in all fields, the school has, consequently, outpaced the rest in matters academic excellence and extra-curricular activities. The team behind this feat is dedicated to the core and delivers on its mandate with love.
JSPS has adopted the Kenyan 8-4-4 curriculum and is also implementing the CBC Curriculum as is envisioned in the designs. All the teachers have the relevant skills and experience required to interpret the syllabus requirements.
The children that we release to High Schools every year after they have sat the KCPE carry on with the culture of excellence to the schools they are called to join. The KCPE Class of 2020 has seen 98% of the candidates get called to join National Schools, Extra-County Schools and Top of the Mark Private Schools.
Our CBC classes have managed to achieve great feats as well as mastering new skills. The pupils are kept busy as they engage individually or in groups to have practical sessions, digital literacy lessons and project work. As they engage, they develop critical thinking, learn how to communicate and also develop self efficacy. In other instances, the pupils are engaged in community service as a learning activity.
This is besides the various extra – curricular activities we engage the pupils in. They also get a chance to showcase their talents at the regional and national levels at the Kenya Music Festivals, Chess competitions, Swimming Galas and Ball Games. This is besides some of the pupils being engaged in other movements like scouting.
Right from each pupils inception into our school system, the school endeavours to ground all the pupils firmly in the biblical principles of hard work, honesty and the fear of God.
JSPS has been at the fore front of undertaking a differentiated approach to achieve set objectives in a custom-made mode of delivery that takes keen interest of the diversity we celebrate, among the pupils we admit.
As the country prepares itself for the new normal in the new curriculum, we can only look into the future with hope. We can confidently say that we have mastered the art of shaping the futures of the pupils entrusted in our care. As our motto rightly states:
‘Whatever is Excellent.’
We take this mantra very seriously as we carry out our daily routine.

JSPS pays special emphasis to how we mould our learners. As a result, we have over the years maintained a high standard of discipline, self-drive and excellence in all our pupils. Our highly motivated teachers work hand in hand with the learners to achieve set targets. Indeed, this noble institution has created great futures and will continue to do so. We continue to support our learners in theor journey as they grow physically, emotionally, socially and in talents.

From the onset, the boarding experience at JSPS has been extremely fulfilling. this is clear from the feedback we have been receiving from the parents, teachers and the pupils themselves. Indeed, JSPS is a home away from home.
The welcoming nature of our strong, closely knit community makes children feel safe and happy as they transition into responsible adults. Our philosophy that guides our approach is that each child should be inspired to achieve excellence at a personal level in all he/she undertakes to do. Our children are trained and supported to be independent in their everyday life and to play their roles as valuable members of our great community.

The competency Based Curriculum has been well adopted and implemented in Juja St. Peter's School. Our teachers are well trained and continue to make the delivery of the curriculum seamless. our learners enjoy a learning environment full of activities that are integrated with academics and hence producing an all round engaged, empowered and ethical learner as we nature every learner's potential.
